Girls Night, Pop Cakes and Save the Dates

12 Jul

Is there anything better than getting to gether with your girlfriends? I think not.

My friend Kate has knee surgery planned today, so we decided to gather at her place for some distraction and support. Oh, and food and wine happened, too.

Everyone brought something to contribute. We enjoyed the best guac on the face of the planet, crab dip, asparagus with dip, watermelon, Rach made healthy pasta salad (she used red wine vinegar and greek yogurt!) and of course cupcakes made with a can of diet Sprite.

After a few hours of gabbing, I headed home excited because I caught word on the street that something exciting was waiting for me.

Yay, it’s official! The happy couple will say ‘I do’ in a few months. Save the date! 🙂

(**I just heard that Kate is out of surgery and doing well**)
