A Girl Who Runs

After a life filled with figure skating; practice, travel and competitions for over twenty years, I was searching for a new goal. Once you graduate college, you are suddenly too old to compete competitively. And with the mix of my 50-60 hr work weeks, hitting the ice became a thing of the past.

My best friend and I started running a few years back and I have taken quite a liking to the sport.

I am not the best.

I am not the fastest.

But, man do I love it.

Races to be run:

Bayshore Half Marathon – May 26, 2012

Chicago Rock and Roll Half Marathon – June 2012

Races I’ve run:

Bayshore 10k

Detroit St. Patty’s Day 5k

Crim Festival of Races
